  Shijra Shareef (English) : Qadriya, Chistiya al-Ashrafiya 
   Shajaratun taiyyebatun asloha sabetuw'n wa far-oha fis samaey

During the anniversary celebrations at Kicchocha Shareef, it is customary to recite the Shijra-e-Nasab-wa-Iradat-wa-Khilafat with the reciatation of the Qul 'wa-Fateha and the Qur'an al-karim.

This Shijra-e-Mubarakah used to be memorised and preserved in hearts or inscribed on precious tablets, this meant that many ordinary people could not gain access or benefit from it. It was 'AlaHadrat' Ashrafi miya (the Reviver of the Ashrafi Dynasty) Sayyad Shah Ali Husayn al-Ashrafi [d.1355H] May Allah be pleased with him who noticed this deficiency and the need to publish the Shijra-e-Mubarkah. This task was taken up by Muhaddith al-A'zam al-Hind May Allah be pleased with him and he compiled and published the first Shijra shareef. 'Ashrafi miya's' grandson Hadrat Sarkar-e-Kalan Sayyad Mukhtar Ashraf May Allah be pleased with him then decided to re-publish it, and again it was Muhaddith al-A'zam al-Hind May Allah be pleased with him who re-compiled it. And to keep the tradition alive and to benefit the masses living in the west this Shijra Shareef has been reproduced by Muhaddith al-A'zam Mission of (Bolton) UK in English.

This English translation also comes with a romanised transliteration, with Arabic, urdu and occassionally persian text.                         [Paperback - 98 pages]
